I’m the Lead Scheduler for LDJ Gutters. What I enjoy most about working with our builders and crews is getting to know them. It helps me to understand and anticipate their needs so that I can help to make their experience with LDJ custom and seamless.
I started with LDJ as a Project Manager and became the Lead Scheduler in 2017. Having had experience as a PM has given me a lot of insight into that side of the process; while working in my current position. The transition was fun for me as I got to learn the ins and outs of the business from another, more involved, level and I got to learn more about our customers.
Connecting with people has always been something that I enjoy and has always been something I have looked for in a career. Over the past few years, getting to know our builders and crews certainly wasn’t necessary, but makes the job fun and makes me a more effective Scheduler. I make sure that I know the history of previous projects with the builder, which helps us to select colors and materials for our current project.
When I am not working, I love spending time with my family and traveling. Traveling has been different for me during the pandemic. I have been enjoying more road trips than getting on a plane. My favorite place that I have traveled to was Scotland. I haven’t been in years, but I had scheduled another trip before the pandemic. When covid-19 hit, I had to reschedule. Something to look forward to; along with many other things!
I love working with LDJ and working with all of our customers. This past year, while different in many ways, has been exciting to be a part of the expansion from DFW to Austin, Houston, and San Antonio. We have been growing our office team, our crews, and our customer list. We are kind of a big deal. I am looking forward to continuing to be a part of this great team...and Scotland, of course!
